About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for performing order entry tasks, collaborating with pharmacists to ensure accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities- Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
- Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
- Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
- Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
- Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have a certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law, and one (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician. Prior experience in the long-term care industry and PTCB National Certification are preferred.
