As an IT Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing and improving our IT systems to ensure they meet the needs of our organization. Key Responsibilities: * Consult with managers to determine the role of IT systems in the organization. * Collect and analyze user requirements to make recommendations about IT enhancements or provide IT solutions to business processes. * Work with business owners to expand or modify IT systems while maintaining the integrity of the data. * Perform in-depth testing on system components to determine performance and diagnose IT system issues. * Research methods to add new functionality to an existing system. * Analyze, review, and implement appropriate technical tools to troubleshoot or enhance existing systems. * Develop reports or data visualization resources from enterprise data sources. * May train systems users and create documentation and instruction manuals. * May program or develop scripts for process automation. * Provide a cost-benefit analysis so management can determine feasibility of new systems or upgrades. * Oversee the installation, configuration and testing for new, existing or modified systems, including customization for the organization. * Conduct research about current and emerging technologies to recommend IT improvements and efficiencies. * Designs user acceptance test plans, documents results, and reviews results with end-users to ensure system functionality meets requirements. Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 3 years relevant experience. * A total of five years of relevant experience may be substituted to meet these qualifications. * Alternative combinations of education and experience to be considered.
