We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary Teacher for the Arts to join our team at Lincoln Elem Schl For The Arts. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students and contribute to a dynamic educational environment.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences for students in grades K-8. They will develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse needs and abilities, promoting academic excellence and artistic growth.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality instruction in various subjects, including core curriculum areas and art education.
- Assess student progress, identify areas for improvement, and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive school community.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and attendance documents as required.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices, curriculum developments, and technological advancements in education.
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- A valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate in elementary education.
- Certification in the area of assignment (e.g., special education, English language learner support).
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
