Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to work on a per diem / prn basis. As a Speech Language Pathologist with BAYADA, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from infants to geriatric individuals, and provide individualized care to meet their unique needs.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for patients with speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote health, safety, and independent living.
  • Document observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately and thoroughly, utilizing electronic medical records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
Requirements
  • Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
  • Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Solid computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
