Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Requirements Analysis: Analyze and document business processes, review and validate test plans, support user acceptance testing, and track/manage requirements traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Business Problem Solving: Identify and understand the business problem and the impact of the proposed solution on operations of the organization.
  • Solution Documentation: Document the solution scope including objectives, added value, and benefit expectations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Identify and assess the impact of the solution on all project stakeholders.
  • Business Process Improvement: Analyze and document current business processes and functional requirements, review impacted business processes, and work with business stakeholders to identify and make business process improvements that result in cost savings, higher quality, increased efficiencies, lower risk, and shorter cycle times.
  • Requirements Gathering: Lead and facilitate requirements gathering workshops and discussions with IT and various business stakeholders.
  • Requirements Management: Develop a clear set of requirements that are complete and understood by technology resources and business stakeholders, manage requirements and associated changes to the requirements through the project lifecycle, and track and manage requirements traceability throughout the systems development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Documentation and Communication: Review, analyze, and create detailed documentation of business systems and user needs, and deliver on assigned project tasks within time, cost, and quality constraints.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Lead and manage stakeholder understanding of the implications of changes to existing applications, systems, and/or processes, and facilitate cost and effort estimation sessions with developers and third-party solution providers.
  • Quality Assurance: Support QA and UAT processes through validation of test planning and execution.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 6-9 years of relevant experience in process mapping, business requirements analysis and documentation, data mapping, and test planning.
  • Collaboration Tools: Experience working with collaboration tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Teams.
  • ITIL: Familiarity with IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes, policies, and procedures.
  • IT Professional: Hands-on IT professional with full SLDC lifecycle experience in delivering complex IT projects/programs and experienced in process mapping, business requirements analysis and documentation, data mapping.
  • Software Development Methodologies: Knowledge of software development process methodologies like RUP and/or Agile, and use case modeling.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to work independently and to effectively manage and execute multiple initiatives concurrently, good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, both written and verbally.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of the Hotel or Casino industry.
  • Coaching: Previous experience in coaching junior staff preferred.
