Key Responsibilities:

• Comply with all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Utilize approved methods for receiving, handling, and displaying produce to maintain quality and freshness.
• Demonstrate knowledge of various produce items, including their uses and characteristics.
• Assist in the verification of incoming produce shipments as needed.
• Ensure that all display areas are stocked and visually appealing at all times.
• Manage damaged goods and assist in minimizing waste.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for customers by providing excellent service.
• Participate in training and mentoring new team members.
• Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to management promptly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Familiarity with various produce types and their characteristics is a plus.

Work Environment:

This position involves working in a dynamic environment with frequent exposure to refrigerated areas and fresh produce. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to respond quickly to various situations.
