Pharmacy Technician Per Diem Day

About the Role:
The Pharmacy Technician at Providence Seaside Hospital plays a vital part in the healthcare team, ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications to patients. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Filling and dispensing unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to nursing units and other ancillary departments.
- Triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS).
- Filling/dispensing oral and IV medications.
Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma or GED.
- Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire, or Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
- Minimum of one year (> 2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and current PTCB certification - OR - 2 years (>4160 hours) hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified.
