We are seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team at Umanist Staffing LLC. As a primary care physician, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients, focusing on preventive care, health maintenance, and disease management.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting Comprehensive Physical Examinations: Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical histories for patients to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Ordering and Interpreting Diagnostic Tests: Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and X-rays to inform patient care plans.
- Developing Patient Care Plans: Develop and implement patient care plans based on medical diagnoses, taking into account patient preferences and values.
- Prescribing Medications and Treatments: Prescribe medications and treatments for various illnesses and injuries, ensuring safe and effective care.
- Educating Patients: Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
- Monitoring and Managing Chronic Conditions: Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, working closely with patients to achieve optimal health outcomes.
- Referring Patients to Specialists: Refer patients to specialists or other healthcare professionals as needed, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Collaborating with Interdisciplinary Teams: Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated patient care, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participating in Quality Improvement Initiatives: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols, contributing to a culture of excellence and safety.
- Maintaining Accurate Medical Records: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients, ensuring timely and effective communication with other healthcare providers.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Degree: Possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine: Be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, demonstrating expertise in primary care.
- Valid State Medical License and DEA Registration: Hold a valid state medical license and DEA registration, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Successful Completion of a Residency Program: Complete a residency program in primary care, gaining hands-on experience in patient care and medical management.
- Proven Clinical Experience in Primary Care: Possess proven clinical experience in primary care, demonstrating expertise in patient care and medical management.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record Systems: Be proficient in electronic health record systems, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
