Job Title: Server

At Melting Pot, we are seeking a skilled and friendly Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and Acknowledge Guests: Welcome guests with a friendly smile and introduce yourself, offering beverage and wine recommendations.
  • Verify Guest Age: Check identification to ensure guests are of legal drinking age.
  • Menu Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all menu items and daily specials, including allergy information.
  • Food and Beverage Recommendations: Make recommendations and answer related inquiries to enhance the guest experience.
  • Order Taking and POS: Take orders and enter them into the POS system efficiently.
  • Anticipate Guest Needs: Regularly communicate with guests, anticipating their needs and providing prompt service.
  • Payment Processing: Process guest payments, including credit card, cash, and gift card transactions.
  • Service Station Maintenance: Keep service stations stocked and prepared, ensuring an efficient service.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain clean and orderly service areas, adhering to established safety and sanitation standards.
Qualifications:
  • High-Energy Environment: Able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Prioritization and Organization: Requires a good sense of prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Multi-Tasking: Able to multitask while maintaining a sense of urgency and accuracy.
  • Teamwork: Able to work as part of a team, projecting a friendly and helpful attitude.
  • Dependability and Timeliness: Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and dependability, with a flexible schedule.
  • Personal Appearance and Hygiene: Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
  • Knowledge of Spirits, Beer, and Wine: Working knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine, including brand names and garnishes.
Requirements:
  • Food Handlers Card: Required.
  • POS Knowledge: An advantage.
  • Lifting and Physical Demands: Able to lift 30-50 lbs and stand, walk, lift, twist, and bend for up to 8 hours a day.
Shift and Experience:

PM Shift, Part-time. 1-2 years of experience. Hourly pay.
