Bellefaire JCB is a leading provider of mental health services for children and families. We are seeking a skilled Child Group Therapist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Child Group Therapist will work with children ages 6-12 in a community-based partial hospitalization setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing curriculum and treatment plans for youth referred to the After School Program (ASP).

Responsibilities:
  • Administer therapeutic groups to youth within various clinical topics as directed via curriculum based on individual client treatment needs.
  • Lead and plan therapeutic groups and individual clients involved in ASP.
  • Supervise client activities and ensure the safety and whereabouts of clients during ASP time.
  • Protect clients from physical and emotional harm and assist in crisis intervention and problem resolution.
  • Plan and write curriculum for groups being led, ensuring it is based on individual client treatment goals and supported by treatment team plans.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Valid Ohio LSW or LPC required.
