Job Title: Network EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our fast-paced team in the manufacturing industry. This is a permanent role that will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our growing network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:- Design, set up, and configure complex switching environments and complex wireless networks that support open or secured access and the ability to support voice and video applications.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Local Area Networking (LAN) and Wide Area Networking (WAN).
- Assist in the design of multi-server environments including IP address schemes, DNS, DHCP, Ethernet, and WIFI.
- Configure and install client and server network software for upgrading and maintaining network systems.
- Maintain multi-site network operations and software applications, operating systems, and regular maintenance with both private and public facilities.
- Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
- Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel, and the public to provide technical assistance and support.
- Supervise the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and software applications to resolve operational issues and restore services.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a network engineering role.
- Certifications in CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) are required.
- Extensive experience with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, and firewalls.
- Proficiency in managing LAN/WAN networks.
- Hands-on experience with Solarwinds NPM and NTA is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and VPN.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
- Strong knowledge of network security and various forms of threats (malware, ransomware, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
