About the Position

Cybersecurity Engineer - Mid

Job Location: Hanover, MD

Clearance: DoD Clearance Required

Nighthawk Cyber seeks a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer - Mid to support the management and execution of migrating range-related objects from unclassified to classified networks. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, and configuring virtual instances in conformance to Master Scenario Events List (MESL) goals on the cyber range.

The ideal candidate will possess DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II or higher certification and a minimum of 5 years of related experience. Additionally, relevant network engineering certifications such as JNCP, CCNA, Palo Alto, CCNA Cyber Ops, or others are highly desired. The successful candidate will also be capable of maintaining DoD clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Estimate and track scope of work, test, and maintain virtualized networks in support of cyber range mission rehearsals.
  • Develop, deploy, and configure virtual instances in conformance to MESL goals on the cyber range.
  • Support the management and execution of migrating range-related objects from unclassified to classified networks.
  • Perform connections of layer 2 and 3 infrastructure devices to the cyber range via hardware-in-the-loop workflows.
  • Support the integration, configuration, and testing functionality of personal security products (PSP).
