Job Title: Elevator Concourse Ambassador

Overview:

This role is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experience by transporting visitors to their designated seating areas during all events at PPG Paints Arena. The Elevator Concourse Ambassador will provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests, adhering to strict protocols to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Salary: $14.19 per hour

Job Description:

The Elevator Concourse Ambassador is a crucial part of the PPG Paints Arena team, responsible for ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a clean and organized environment in assigned areas
  • Cleaning and sanitizing assigned work areas, including buttons, doors, and walls, following proper protocols
  • Operating elevator buttons to open and close doors, ensuring guests enter and exit safely
  • Ensuring all passengers follow proper protocols and guests adhere to proper behavior while riding the elevator
  • Providing directional assistance to various locations throughout the facility
  • Assisting other employees with loading items into the elevator and transferring goods from floor to floor
  • Enforcing building rules and regulations, including no smoking
  • Providing excellent customer service, professionalism, and respect to all guests and fellow employees

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Sound judgment and quick decision-making capability
  • Good verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate the elevator
  • Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to interact with all levels of staff, including management
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
