Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Security Officer at St. Joseph Medical Center.

In this role, you will be responsible for protecting life and property on hospital premises, patrolling hospital buildings and grounds, and responding to security needs.

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience. You will also enjoy a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

Your key responsibilities as a Security Officer will include:

  • Ensuring the safety and security of patients, visitors, and staff
  • Responding to security needs and participating in performance improvement activities
Qualifications

To be successful as a Security Officer at St. Joseph Medical Center, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • A minimum of two to five years of experience in law enforcement, security operations, or a related field
  • A current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
