The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of physical therapy assistants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, ensuring their needs are met and goals are achieved.
- Leadership and Management: Supervise and mentor a team of physical therapy assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and departmental performance.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Staffing and Scheduling: Manage staffing levels, schedules, and productivity to ensure efficient use of resources and high-quality patient care.
- Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, staff satisfaction, and departmental performance.
- Fiscal Management: Manage departmental budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist assistant, including at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications/Licenses: Current certification as a physical therapist assistant and valid state licensure.
