Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, ensuring their needs are met and goals are achieved.
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and mentor a team of physical therapy assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and departmental performance.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Manage staffing levels, schedules, and productivity to ensure efficient use of resources and high-quality patient care.
  • Quality Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes, staff satisfaction, and departmental performance.

Requirements
  • Education: Graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist assistant, including at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Current certification as a physical therapist assistant and valid state licensure.
