Job Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and instructing them on how to hold their breath
  • Monitor patients during CT scans to ensure their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and scan results
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
  • CT/X-ray experience
  • ARRT certification
  • BLS certification
  • EPIC experience
Work Environment

This is a travel assignment in a hospital setting, with a mix of 8-12 hour shifts, 3-5 times per week, depending on the week's schedule. The hospital is a critical access hospital with a busy ER, and the technologist will primarily work alone. The department is newly remodeled, and the technologist will have access to state-of-the-art equipment, including GE CT and PACS, Canon x-ray room, and Shimadzu Rad/Fluoro room.
