Senior Civil Engineering Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineering Surveyor to join our team at Innovative Engineering & Consulting, Inc. in Whitestown, Indiana.

This is a full-time permanent position that requires strong leadership skills and experience in field data collection, survey document preparation, and team supervision. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in field data collecting and 1-3 years of experience as a Survey Party Chief.

As a Senior Civil Engineering Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

• Collecting accurate existing site conditions for survey documents and site design
• Supervising and instructing other field crew members in data collection
• Maintaining accurate digital data from the field throughout the project life cycle

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

• Providing support to the design department and interacting with staff, consultants, and clients as instructed by senior management
• Working alone and within small teams on various tasks, including variable weather conditions and extreme temperatures
• Directing other members of the field survey team and supervising the accurate collection of digital field data

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• An associate's degree in surveying is preferred
• Strong technical skills and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and exporting/importing points from/to the field

Our estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
