ECS Limited is in search of a Strategic Innovation Advisor to join our dynamic team in a Hybrid Remote capacity.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an Innovation Consultant to assist the Veterans Health Administration's (VHA) Office of Healthcare Innovation and Learning (OHIL). This role involves a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility.

The array of initiatives, driven by grassroots contributions, leadership goals, industry discussions, and collaborations, necessitates a team of adaptable and skilled professionals capable of delivering high-quality results under tight timelines. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual eager to support a fast-paced and diverse range of programs and initiatives.

The successful candidate will engage in the following responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture key relationships with VHA OHIL personnel.
  • Assist client directors and managers with a broad, cross-functional focus.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables for senior executives, including reports and briefings.
  • Effectively communicate project statuses and impacts to the wider community.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement and initiate strategies to foster change.
  • Raise risks and concerns to project managers promptly.
Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000

Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Familiarity with project management best practices, such as PMI's PMBOK.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks while remaining adaptable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
  • Proven experience in developing comprehensive project plans, budgets, resource allocations, and risk management strategies.
  • Capacity to thrive in a collaborative, results-oriented environment.
  • Skills to build and maintain client relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Strategic thinking ability to assess and devise solutions effectively.
  • Experience in crafting various written communications, including white papers, articles, newsletters, reports, and social media content.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
  • Strong consulting and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project).
  • Exceptional writing skills, with experience in producing and refining high-quality written materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft and Adobe Suite.
  • Experience with innovation programs.
  • Knowledge of Human-Centered Design principles.
  • Experience with the Veterans Health Administration.
