Senior Care Professional

As a Home Care Consultant, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our local community, responsible for building relationships with key referral sources, promoting our services, and identifying new business opportunities. You will act as a community liaison, consult with potential new clients, and operate as a case manager for current clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain relationships with key referral sources, such as hospitals, rehab centers, social workers, and other healthcare providers.
- Serve as an expert on Home Instead's services and the benefits of home care for older adults.
- Conduct educational seminars and presentations for healthcare providers, senior centers, and other community organizations to promote Home Instead's services.
- Attend networking events and community meetings to build brand awareness and identify potential new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to reach potential clients and their families.
- Utilize CRM software (Salesforce) to manage and track all referrals, leads, and client information.
- Work closely with the Home Instead team to ensure a seamless transition from referral to service delivery.
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or LPN.
- At least 3 years of experience in healthcare or a related field, with a focus on marketing, business development, or community relations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a proven track record of developing and maintaining professional relationships.
- Knowledge of the challenges faced by older adults and their families, and a passion for improving quality of life for this population.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong computer skills and experience working with CRM software (i.e. Salesforce).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
