About the Role
- We are looking for individuals who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- You will be responsible for operating bakery equipment, following recipes, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Your primary focus will be on preparing bakery department merchandise according to daily production needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Expertise: Prepare bakery items based on daily production needs by operating baking equipment, following recipes, and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise.
- Quality Control: Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and assisting members with purchasing decisions.
About You
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Prior experience in a bakery or production environment is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Able to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly around the store floor.
