  • Support, supervise, and oversee other teammates within the pod, including Behavior Interventionists (BIs), Assistant ABA Supervisors (at sites utilizing a 3-tier supervision model), and Lead BIs (where applicable).
  • Manage direct reports by setting clear goals, developing and monitoring progress on individual development plans, providing regular feedback and coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Provide monthly supervision to all RBT's and/or BCATs in the pod, completing paperwork and supervising at least 5% of hours in 1:1 and/or group supervision experiences.
  • Mentor and train new BIs, which may include assisting with training tasks as needed, including measuring clinical fidelity in the field.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to supervisees collecting BCBA supervision hours.
  • Provide supervision for each direct report following Cortica's minimum meeting cadence guidelines, including regular 1:1 meetings and ad-hoc meetings as needed.

  • Administer various clinical tests, rating scales, and assessments as clinically indicated and/or required by funding source (e.g., Vineland-3, ABAS-3, FAST, VB-MAPP, PDDBI, ADOS, PSI-4, etc.).
  • Ensure quality clinical care, meeting all minimum supervisory and parent training hours and maintaining productivity expectations.
  • Schedule in such a way to meet the required billable hour expectation for the role by the assigned due date, meeting with direct supervisor regularly to review scheduled hours and ensure optimization of all supervision and parent training hours for patients on caseload.
  • Assist in new hire training and onboarding and ensure completion of employment requirements for direct reports following assigned timelines for new reports.
  • Participate in monthly quality assurance activities, including meetings and phone interviews with clients, parents/guardians, and case managers.
  • Be available to clinical staff during office operating hours daily to assist with crisis intervention.
  • Participate in site management and/or staff meetings as well as department trainings and workshops, which may also include leading some meetings.
  • Recommend, prepare, and facilitate trainings as necessary to assist staff in better meeting the needs of clients.
  • Assist with client record audits as needed.
  • Complete session notes and convert billable appointments within Central Reach during the billable session time. For times when client safety requires the note to be completed outside of the session time, notes will be completed and appointments converted by the end of the workday.
  • Oversee and review all Behavior Interventionist and/or Assistant Supervisors (2-tier regions) documentation, including auditing session notes that are in POD and/or assigned to direct cases.
