Job Summary

Lone Star College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Computer Information Technology courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and related fields, as well as excellent teaching and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Computer Information Technology courses at various times and locations
  • Create engaging lesson plans that promote student involvement and application of material
  • Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner
  • Utilize a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
  • Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and orientations as required
Requirements
  • Masters with 18 graduate hours in computer science or related field, or an MBA with 18 hours of relevant computer technical coursework or computer technical experience
Working Conditions

The work is sedentary, with occasional walking, standing, and carrying of light items. The employee will work in a climate-controlled classroom and/or lab environment with minimal exposure to safety hazards.
