Position Overview:
The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that guest accommodations are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a dedication to providing outstanding service to all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms in accordance with established standards.
- Prepare housekeeping carts with necessary supplies, including guest amenities and cleaning materials.
- Remove waste and soiled linens from guest rooms and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, public spaces, and storage areas.
- Restock cleaning supplies for the following day’s tasks.
- Replenish cleaning solution containers as needed.
- Report any missing items from guest rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager.
- Notify the Housekeeping Supervisor or Manager of any maintenance issues promptly.
- Handle lost and found items according to company policies.
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction through attentive service.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in a hotel or similar environment.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, and 20 pounds frequently.
- Capability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on providing friendly and courteous service.
Salary Range: $17.50-$18.00/hr.
