PennState Health is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Lemont, Pennsylvania.
About the Role:As a Physical Therapist at PennState Health, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including pre-operative, non-operative, and post-operative patients with peripheral joint injuries, acute and chronic orthopedic conditions, and spine dysfunction.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various orthopedic and sports-related injuries and conditions.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
- Collaborate with sports medicine orthopedic and non-operative primary care providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide manual treatment techniques, including joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and exercise prescription.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in physical therapy.
- Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from a CAPTE-certified program.
- PA license in physical therapy (or eligibility).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in orthopedic and sports physical therapy.
- Preferred: Athletic Training Certification (ATC) and manual treatment techniques expertise.
