Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Local Delivery Driver to join our team at Drive My Way. As a CDL A Local Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering products, including temperature-controlled foods, safely to cross docks in the Decatur area and be back home daily.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver products to cross docks in the Decatur area
  • Operate a single axel 58 and 53 foot trailers
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Meet productivity and safety standards
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid CDL A license
  • 1 year driving experience
  • Doubles endorsement required
  • Proven experience of safe driving behavior and no serious driving convictions in the last 5 years
  • Must have no DUIs/ OWIs within the last 5 years
  • Must be registered with the FMCSA's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
  • Must be able to successfully pass DOT pre-employment drug test, DOT physical, MVR and national background screen
