Job Summary

The Medical Assistant Float position at Capital Medical Center offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of our ambulatory care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our clinical staff.

Responsibilities
  • Perform safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the CMA, including clinical duties in the management of ambulatory patients
  • Work under the direction of a licensed healthcare practitioner to provide excellent patient care and support
  • Utilize knowledge and skills to integrate available standards, resources, and data to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Assist with front office duties as needed, applying discretion, good judgment, and diplomacy to ensure excellent office and patient care management
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistants
  • Successful completion of Medical Assistant program and certification with the State of Washington required
  • Previous front desk experience preferred
  • Current Washington state driver's license and proof of a safe driving record required
