  • Supervise Cooks and Food Service Assistants, providing necessary direction and creating assigned schedules to deliver exceptional services from the department.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by maintaining open communication with residents and families, demonstrating tact, sensitivity, and professionalism.
  • Manage food preparation, presentation, and service to meet the dietary needs of our residents.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain a clean and safe food preparation environment.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.

**Requirements:**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous food service experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.
  • Food Service Sanitation Certificate as per State/Local requirements.
  • Ability to push/pull objects and lift/carry up to 50 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and sit, stand, bend, lift, and move during working hours.
