Janitorial Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team at SSC Services for Education. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible and sanitary manner.
• Dust and mop floors, clean walls and windows, and remove any debris or obstacles.
• Operate cleaning equipment and machinery, such as vacuum cleaners and floor buffers.
• Sanitize all surfaces and equipment to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management, such as restocking supplies and reporting maintenance issues.

• 6 months of janitorial experience preferred, but willing to train.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
