Lighting and Sound Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Lighting and Sound Technician to join our team at Royal Lahaina Resort. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical aspects of our Luau Show are executed to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Operations: Execute the operation of lighting and sound systems for the Luau Show, including setup, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Light and Sound Manager, Luau Stage Manager, and Luau Artistic Director to maintain the quality of the Luau Show.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is kept in good condition and up to date, and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, management, and guests to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in a show production role or equivalent, with a high level of technical proficiency and knowledge of sound and lighting techniques.
- Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work effectively with a team, communicate clearly and respectfully, and provide excellent guest service.
- Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to identify and resolve technical problems, and adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to perform job functions with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
