Key Responsibilities:

  • Support team members in evaluating mission timelines and equipment delivery schedules utilizing digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with project teams during the processing of space hardware.
  • Engage with Safety and Materials engineers to finalize hardware assessments necessary for mission readiness.
  • Develop delivery timelines for Countermeasures hardware and assist in system planning meetings.
  • Coordinate documentation for the shipment and launch of space hardware.
  • Act as the liaison between the Countermeasures team and the Cargo Mission Contract, ensuring timely transport of hardware.
  • Present updates and address inquiries during team meetings.
  • Facilitate communication between the Countermeasures team and various departments, including safety and compliance teams.
  • Participate in hardware testing activities as needed.
  • Conduct additional tasks such as government recall assessments and general research as required.
  • Adhere to established guidelines and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Experience with organizational processes and procedures is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail is crucial, as this role involves high visibility and scrutiny.
  • Self-motivation and effective time management skills are essential for success.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to track progress on multiple tasks are necessary.
  • Resourcefulness and the ability to conduct thorough research are important traits.
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective interaction with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with engineering concepts and practices is expected.
  • A genuine interest in space operations and hardware is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Countermeasures hardware.
  • Experience in crew communication and interface.
  • Background in troubleshooting hardware issues and conducting failure analysis.
  • Experience in developing operational procedures.
