Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team at our Brandermill location. As a key member of our dental care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, educating patients on oral health, and working collaboratively with our dentists to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning teeth: Removing plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth
  • Examining oral health: Checking for signs of oral disease in the head, neck, and oral areas
  • Applying sealants and fluorides: Protecting teeth with these treatments
  • Taking and developing x-rays: Reviewing them for signs of disease
  • Educating patients: Teaching proper oral hygiene techniques, such as brushing and flossing
  • Documenting care: Recording patient care and treatment plans
  • Screening patients: Reviewing dental history and recommending care to improve oral health
Requirements
  • CPR certified (American Heart Association, Basic Life Support for healthcare providers)
  • High degree of skill with hand instrumentation and ultrasonic inserts
  • Experience in digital radiographs and Dentrix Enterprise electronic patient records preferred
  • Scaling and Root planing
  • Certified to administer nitrous oxide and local anesthesia
