Job Summary:
Talent Software Services is seeking a skilled Senior Content Designer to join our team in Richfield, MN. This contract position offers a strong chance for a long-term extension, allowing the right candidate to make a significant impact on our customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Content Designer, you will partner with our design teams to create compelling experiences that align with our brand voice and customer needs. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with Experience Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to develop solutions that meet customer and business needs.
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Estimating velocity and work effort using Agile methodology, tracking progress in Jira.
  • Providing insights into our current capabilities and functionality across digital channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Driving a strategic content vision that echoes throughout the customer journey.
  • Leveraging customer research, data, and insights to support assertions and drive strategy.
  • Creating clear, concise, and compelling content that enables customers to achieve their goals.
  • Delivering artifacts that support work efforts and ensure standard design practices and consistent experiences.
  • Advancing our practice by contributing to the content style guide and design system, driving adoption of content standards.
  • Promoting the practice of Content Design and demonstrating its value to stakeholders.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Current case studies demonstrating your ability to solve customer problems and create Content Design deliverables.
  • Bachelor's degree in human-centered design, product design, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Content Designer, UX Writer, or Experience Designer, or 8+ years in a related role.
  • Knowledge of Experience Design principles and deliverables.
  • Ability to work through complex design solutions and understand underlying technology.
  • Advanced ability to communicate writing and design concepts effectively, build consensus, and justify decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal communications, organizational savvy, time management, and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:
We also welcome candidates with:
  • Deep expertise in full-stack content design and the ability to articulate its value.
  • A clear understanding of how to lead projects from a content perspective.
  • Experience working in the Agile methodology, especially estimating velocity and work effort, and tracking in project management software like Jira.
  • The ability to prioritize projects and communicate capacity and priority to CD and Product Leaders.
  • Experience collaborating with design partners in Figma.
