Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver fundamental bedside care to long-term care residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, adhering to your professional scope.
- Assist in patient assessments by gathering data for the RN's analysis.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Conduct routine laboratory tests and provide basic therapeutic services.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, self-care post-discharge, and available resources.
- Ensure resident safety by identifying potential hazards and responding appropriately to emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Current LPN license required.
- Certification: BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent, or 1 year of relevant experience.
