The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Nursing Officer to join our senior leadership team. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for leading the vision of "From Health Care to Health" by forging strong relationships with the health system enterprise, UCHealth Medical Group physicians, and physician leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the provision of clinical operations throughout ambulatory services, nursing practice, and standards of care.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement nursing protocols, policies, and procedures that conform to current standards of UCHealth Medical Group.
  • Assist in carrying out the approved Strategic Plan and participate in the process to modify the plan as necessary.
  • Responsible for clinical staff workforce management, including attrition rates, job description development, and competencies.
  • Engage with community partners, such as colleges of nursing, allied health professional training programs, and public health organizations.
  • Collaborate with business operations and medical leadership on policies, process improvement, and quality initiatives.
Requirements
  • A master's degree in nursing, business, or healthcare.
  • Minimum five years' nursing leadership experience, preferably at a senior level.
  • Unrestricted RN license from the State of Colorado Board of Nursing or compact privileges under the multi-state Nurse Licensure Compact agreement.
  • Experience as a nursing executive in a large, complex health system or large multi-discipline medical group.
