We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team at **Vertex Service Partners LLC**. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and supporting decision-making processes.

**Responsibilities:

  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes both for Partner Services and at Partner companies
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant accounting standards
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide insights for decision-making

**Requirements:**

A.A or B.S Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
CPA Certification or working towards your certification is a plus.
Minimum 1 years' experience in an accounting setting. Experience in a PE-backed company a plus.
Knowledge of and proficiency in using Accounting and CRM Systems. We are currently using Sage Intacct and ServiceTitan.
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
