We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Backroom Associate. This role is responsible for maintaining and processing shipments, receiving merchandise, and organizing the Receiving area.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and post delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient processing of shipments
- Compile and organize receiving reports, verify merchandise counts, and route merchandise to proper locations
- Receive and process merchandise, maintaining a clean and organized Receiving area
- Track and process claims, returning damaged goods and handling liquidation merchandise
- Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards and procedures
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
As a Backroom Associate at Walmart, you will enjoy a competitive hourly wage range of $19.00 to $26.00, with opportunities for additional compensation in the form of premiums. You will also be eligible for a range of benefits, including health, financial, and paid time off benefits.
Requirements- Forklift Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of job entry date
- Must be 18 years of age or older
