POSITION SUMMARY
Fontainbleau is looking for a dependable and committed individual to become part of our team as a Security Patrol Officer.

In this vital role, the Security Patrol Officer will be tasked with safeguarding the well-being of our clients, staff, and facilities.

The perfect candidate should exhibit outstanding observational abilities, a composed attitude, and the capability to manage various security scenarios in a professional manner.

This position is crucial and demands a strong dedication to upholding a secure atmosphere.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conduct routine inspections on foot or via vehicle to oversee the premises, detect potential security threats, and respond promptly to any suspicious behavior or incidents.
2. Implement access control protocols by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification, and ensuring that only authorized individuals and guests access restricted areas.
3. Maintain a welcoming and approachable demeanor while engaging with clients, staff, and visitors, offering assistance when necessary and addressing inquiries in a courteous manner.
4. React swiftly and appropriately to emergencies such as medical situations, fires, or security breaches, taking necessary measures to protect lives and property while awaiting emergency services.
5. Record all security-related incidents, accidents, and activities in comprehensive and precise reports. Submit these reports to the relevant authorities and management as needed.
6. Utilize surveillance tools, including closed-circuit television (CCTV), to monitor activities within the premises and identify potential security concerns.
7. Monitor and respond to alarms, ensuring that appropriate actions are taken, and incidents are thoroughly investigated.
8. Manage large gatherings and events by implementing crowd control strategies and ensuring the safety of attendees.
9. Assist in enforcing safety protocols and procedures, such as evacuation plans and safety drills, to prevent accidents and maintain a secure environment.
10. Collaborate with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency services when necessary, providing them with essential information during incidents.

QUALIFICATION CRITERIA
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Candidates must qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

LANGUAGE COMPETENCIES
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this position, the individual is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers to handle or utilize objects, tools, or controls.

The individual frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision and peripheral vision.

The individual must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.


WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The individual could be exposed to an environment containing unrestricted secondhand tobacco smoke.
