Job Title: Pharmacist Full Time Days

Job Summary:
Baptist Health Pharmacy services are committed to ensuring the optimal, safe, and effective use of medications for all patients through advanced technology and innovative application of skilled personnel that will improve clinical outcomes and community health in a value-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret, profile, and dispense medication orders
  • Supervise the production of compounded products
  • Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations regarding pharmacy practice as well as Joint Commission standards
  • Supervise department or assigned work area operations in the absence of Manager or Director, including scheduling appropriate staff coverage when personnel call in sick
  • Initiate, document, and participate in department activities that promote positive patient outcomes

Requirements:
A. Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy with a minimum of a BS in Pharmacy with a PharmD preferred
B. Kentucky Pharmacist Registration or eligible
C. Hospital experience and completion of an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency preferred
D. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
