Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Manager to join our Finance & Administration team. The successful candidate will collaborate and craft strategies to manage data flows to ecommerce and vital digital data sources such as our marketing automation system, HubSpot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with FMI staff and the FMI database development company to facilitate and lead all integrations with the FMI database.
  • Provide project management expertise and testing for all new database integrations while evaluating new applications in the development phase.
  • Analyze and critique existing systems and make recommendations for internal efficiencies.
  • Develop training documents and present end-user training.
  • Oversee all incoming data from external companies to ensure accuracy and reduce duplication.
  • Troubleshoot problems with the database and provide general database support as needed.
Requirements
  • A minimum of three to five years of prior professional work experience in a similar role or related field.
  • A college degree or equivalent work experience in computer science.
  • Prior experience in a computer database support position with extensive knowledge and understanding of database management procedures and priorities.
  • Report writing experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of association business practices including conference registration, accounting and budgeting, and order entry and processing.
  • Computer literacy with a firm understanding of and ability to use Microsoft Office 365 products.
  • Strong project planning and time management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent people skills with an ability to collaborate with various colleagues across the organization as well as external vendors.
  • Strong customer service and team orientation.
  • A high-level of critical thinking and analytical skills.
