The University of New Mexico is seeking qualified Adjunct Faculty to teach in the Nursing Program at our Gallup Branch campus. As a member of our faculty team, you will be responsible for teaching lower division nursing courses, including didactic and clinical instruction, to students in the Nursing Program.
Key Responsibilities- Teach nursing courses, including didactic and clinical instruction, to students in the Nursing Program.
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students and the Nursing Program.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Unrestricted, active New Mexico RN license or multistate RN compact license.
- Master's degree or higher in nursing.
- Two years of clinical nursing experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
Adjunct Faculty are compensated on the basis of their credentials and credit hour course loads. The current rate per credit hour is $1,100.94 for terminal degree holders with 12 hours of college teaching experience, and $1017.60 for master's degree holders with 12 hours of college teaching experience.
