Lead Barista Opportunity

Delaware North Travel and Hospitality is seeking a full-time Lead Barista to join our team at the Lexington Airport in Lexington, Kentucky. As a Lead Barista, you will supervise an assigned concessions stand or multiple stands and lead team members in delivering exceptional guest service at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of concession team members on a per shift basis, including training, counseling, and enforcing work procedures and service standards.
  • Inspect all stands and portables in the assigned area, ensuring all remain clean, sanitized, and safe.
  • Analyze and resolve problems with team members, guests, and the operation with the assistance of management as needed.
  • Verify stand inventories before and after each event, and as assigned.
  • Verify food preparation for timeliness and proper quantities.
  • Evaluate and document performance of stand attendants.
  • Perform opening and closing procedures for assigned area.
  • Assist concession associates in serving guests as business levels demand.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in food service position required; previous experience as a stand attendant or stand manager preferred.
  • Previous cash handling/cashier experience required.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
  • Ability to perform normal lifting of stock up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequently immerses hands in water, soaps, and sanitizer.
  • May be exposed to variable temperature.
Shift Details:

Day shift, evening shift, holidays, weekends.
