Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and utilize the nursing process to ensure developmentally appropriate care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive plan of care that meets the needs of patients and their families.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements.
- Solve complex problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.
- Work independently and receive minimal guidance.
- Oversee care delivered by patient care team and coordinate plan of care.
- Accountable for patient care meeting standards of safety, effectiveness, patient rights and guest relations.
- Responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating and coordinating patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse license.
- Basic EKG course within one year of hire.
- Current AHA BLS Certification.
- Current AHA ACLS Certification.
- Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master's degree).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge.
