Job SummaryAs a Bakery Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting guests in finding the perfect bakery items, taking special orders with precision, and packaging products with care.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service Excellence
- Provide exceptional service to our guests.
- Assist guests in locating specific bakery items and handling special requests with care.
- Take accurate orders for cakes and other custom bakery products.
- Answer phone calls courteously and helpfully, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Merchandising
- Package and price items, maintaining quality and minimizing waste.
- Replenish bakery products to ensure availability and appealing display standards.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, restocking products promptly to meet demand.
- Food Safety
- Ensure product freshness and presentation by rotating stock and removing outdated items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, shelves, and the sales floor.
- Adhere to food safety protocols and maintain accurate records.
- Uphold Festival's quality standards, ensuring product quantity expectations are met promptly.
- Flexibility
- Perform other duties as needed to support the team.
- Customer Focus
- Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with guests and all personnel.
- Communication Skills
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Safety Awareness
- Complete understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.

- Standing for extended periods of time (80% of time)
- Lifting up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis (20% of time)
- Frequently near moving machinery (50% of time)
