They cater to a diverse clientele, including commercial and residential developers, public entities, and school districts, all aimed at facilitating vital public infrastructure projects throughout Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare for and attend board meetings, ensuring thorough follow-up post-meeting.
  • Provide direct support to local and state governmental bodies in negotiating development agreements and ensuring compliance.
  • Manage elections, facilitate bond sales, and oversee construction projects and district creation.
  • Draft, review, and amend various legal documents, including contracts, resolutions, and public infrastructure-related real estate conveyances.
  • Review construction contracts, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a minimum of two years of legal experience in a law firm environment, preferably with a background in working with Texas Water Districts, government entities, or real estate developers. Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to engage with clients are essential. A transactional background is highly preferred.
