We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Anesthesiology department at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
Responsibilities- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including obstetrical, high-risk OBGYN, general, and regional anesthesia, as well as emergency and level 1 trauma anesthesia.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of anesthesia care plans.
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Current NYS RN License and Registration.
- BSN and MSN degrees from an accredited nurse anesthetist program.
- Superior analytical, problem-solving, multitasking, and oral/written communication skills.
- Certification as a CRNA within the first year of hire.
