Academic Human Resources Analyst 2 Job Summary

This is a hybrid eligible position that offers flexibility in your work environment. As an Academic Human Resources Analyst 2, you will provide vital administrative support to our HR team and faculty, leveraging your knowledge of academic personnel and payroll policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team and faculty, including processing academic personnel cases, managing payroll, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to complex HR issues, ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to resolve personnel-related issues, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and vendors.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to University policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance and providing guidance to others.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience/training.
  • Experience in HR and/or payroll, preferably in an academic setting.
  • Administrative experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Customer service experience, with a focus on providing excellent service to faculty, staff, and students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to use sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Thorough knowledge of administrative procedures and processes, including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Solid organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Working Conditions:

This is a hybrid eligible position, which means you will have the option to work from home or in the office. You will be required to work a standard schedule, with occasional evening or weekend work as needed.
