We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at Pet Palace Resort in Charlotte, NC. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to pet families, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the mission, vision, and values of Destination Pet LLC by delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • Sell services and products to prospective clients while showcasing the facilities and amenities of Pet Palace Resort.
  • Tour potential customers through the facility, highlighting its features and benefits.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information according to established procedures.
  • Welcome clients and their pets, ensuring they have the necessary vaccination records and providing a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Manage cash transactions, including accepting payments and maintaining a balanced cash drawer at the end of each shift.
  • Explain company policies to customers in a clear and positive manner, addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
  • Respond professionally to customer complaints, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Escort pets to and from their enclosures, providing water as needed, and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public areas.
  • Operate the Point-of-Sale system accurately and efficiently.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming lobby and other public areas.
  • Complete required training and attend sessions as needed to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of one year of experience in customer service or retail sales.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve problems quickly and professionally.
  • Possess strong telephone skills and be comfortable working on a multi-line phone system and computer system.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds frequently and stand, walk, and climb stairs regularly.
  • Capacity to handle dogs on leashes and work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant chemicals, animal dander, and excretions.

Destination Pet LLC offers competitive pay, ranging from $12.00 to $14.00 per hour based on experience.
