Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, demonstrating a commitment to quality, safety, and customer service.
- Lead and manage a team of nurses, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective nursing plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Monitor and improve departmental processes, identifying opportunities for growth and implementing changes to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current Florida RN licensure or endorsement.
- Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in an emergency department setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
