Job Overview

Marathon Staffing is looking for committed individuals to join our team as Cemetery Maintenance Technicians. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of essential tasks that ensure the upkeep and respectful management of cemetery grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting with burial processes, including entombments and inurnments
  • Operating and maintaining landscaping machinery
  • Installing memorials, foundations, and grave markers
  • Completing maintenance work orders for graves and markers
  • Responding promptly to service requests from families
  • Preparing burial sites with care and attention
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area
Qualifications:
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience in operating landscaping equipment is preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Work Environment:
  • Combination of indoor and outdoor tasks in varying weather conditions
Work Schedule:
  • Full-time position with potential weekend shifts
Compensation:

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with opportunities for salary increases upon full-time employment. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance.
