We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN specializing in Cardiac Care to join our esteemed team at NURSING Presbyterian Hospital. This role is essential for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Certification Requirements- Mandatory certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Duration: 13-week assignment
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Attributes: Must be a collaborative team player, adaptable, and thrive in a dynamic environment
- Previous Experience: Completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment is required
- Core Responsibilities: Involves Adult Cardiac Catheterization, management of Cardiac Devices, Electrophysiology, and/or Structural Heart procedures
- Documentation: Ensure comprehensive and precise documentation is upheld
- Medication Management: Responsible for accurate medication administration, charge, and reporting of daily procedural case loads
- Emergency Response: Provide immediate care in emergent situations
- Administrative Duties: Tasks include ordering supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining equipment cleanliness
- Compliance: Ensure procedure rooms are prepared and adhere to PHS, local, and federal regulations
- Education: Associates Degree in RN program or Radiology
- Preferred Experience: 3 years in adult Cath lab diagnostic, interventional, or EP procedures, including scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring duties
- Licensure: RN licensure is mandatory
- Typical Hours: 7 AM - 5 PM with potential fluctuations to meet staffing needs
- On-call: Availability for weekends and holidays may be necessary
- Traveling Pairs: Note that same schedules or shifts for traveling pairs are not guaranteed
- Eligibility: Travelers must not have been employed by the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for the past 12 months
- Floating: Travelers may be required to float within the facility and to alternate locations within a 20-mile radius of their assigned location
- Tax Information: State tax will be processed through your agency and reflected on your invoice, payable to the state of New Mexico
